Jazzology 201 investigates the wonderfully unpredictable science of swing, improvisation, syncopation, harmony, groove, and listening. Here, the experiment is never exactly repeated because, frankly, nobody remembers precisely what they played the first time.

After countless late-night laboratory sessions, Dr. Stymie developed the official jazz equation:

Theory + Improvisation + Groove + Questionable Timing = JAZZ
