Gradeology 101 investigates the delicate relationship between rubrics, feedback, late submissions, questionable handwriting, technology glitches, caffeine consumption, and the educator’s slowly diminishing supply of sanity.
Dr. Stymie’s research confirms that successful grading requires consistency, fairness, useful feedback, occasional breaks, and the ability to resist writing “Did you even read the instructions?” in 48-point red font. Fortunately, with enough coffee and determination, even the tallest stack eventually disappears, just in time for the next assignment to arrive.
